Kids For Christ Youth Group Activity News:

“Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”

Well we are coming to the end of a joyous Kids For Christ Youth Group year. 23 youth attended the lock-in in honor of our confirmands. We truly have some great youth – future leaders of the church.

Youth group is winding down with a destination unknown and final fun day (game day) on May 12^th.

Though youth group is coming to an end, we will hopefully get together at the Nolympics on May 26^that Riverside Park. It’s a goofy game night with all of the church youth groups coming together to have fun. It is sponsored by the Yankton Area Youth Ministry Team.

Also coming to town is a band called the Apologetix which puts Christian lyrics to main stream songs. They are coming on May 29^th. This will be another great opportunity for the youth to come together with other youth in the community for a great Christian activity. Tickets are $10 each if purchased individually otherwise if we get 10+ together then we can get them for $8 each. Let me know if you are interested. The concert will be held at Calvary.

I would like to encourage someone to step up and work with the Kids For Christ Youth Group as of the fall. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them and am often inspired by the youth. This is a great opportunity for you to share with the youth and connect with some really great kids.

Thank you to the youth and parents of Kids For Christ for always being so very supportive in all that we have done. It’s been a great journey. I have been truly blessed by your youth. Thank you also to the congregation for supporting our fundraisers and praying for us through our activities.
